My Place Hotel – Twin Falls, ID Asking for Local Support in Luggage Drive for Foster Children

Twin Falls, ID – November 10, 2025 – My Place Hotel in Twin Falls is asking for help from local residents to support children in foster care. The hotel is collecting new or gently used luggage throughout November to ensure children have something of their own when moving between homes—rather than a plastic bag to hold their belongings.
“This effort is close to our hearts,” said Diane Ward, General Manager of My Place Hotel – Twin Falls. “We’re reaching out to our community because we can’t do it alone. Even one donated suitcase, duffle bag, or backpack can make a lasting difference for a child who’s going through so much.”
Local residents are encouraged to donate suitcases, duffle bags, carry-on luggage, or backpacks from November 1–30, 2025. Donations can be dropped off at:

All bags collected will be distributed to a local Twin Falls charity supporting children in foster care.
