Writing Camp in Twin Falls is a weeklong workshop for Idaho kids in grades 3-9. Camps are led by a professional teaching-writer from The Cabin who designs imaginative, hands-on creative writing enrichment. Throughout the week, students will encounter challenging prompts and write lots of new poems and stories. They’ll also receive in-depth comments from teachers and learn how to revise toward publication. At the end of camp, students share their writing at a public reading, and publish their work in The Cabin's end-of-summer print anthologies. Register online after March 1 at www.TheCabinIdaho.org or by calling 208-331-8000. Scholarships based on financial aid are available. • Cabin Writers (grades 3-6; 9 a.m. – Noon) Discover how art, music, and nature inform your imagination.
