Calling all Junior Chef! Come experience a culinary adventure in appetizers and tapas. These are small snack items that are popular for sharing and trying different cuisines. In this fun five-day class, young chefs will practice essential kitchen skills and master some fundamentals of cooking and kitchen safety. Learn to make appetizers like the pros as we master techniques for phyllo tarts, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, caprese skewers, mini enchilada tarts, baby hasselback potatoes, cornmeal popovers, and more. This series will include kitchen safety, proper food handling, food preparation, etiquette manners, table setting, presentation and of course math and fun. Come join our chefs in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Ages 9 - 12.
